KARACHI, July 18: Four ships carrying containers, diesel oil and to load naphtha are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing activity at the wharves was light where only two ships, Kota Puri to unload and load containers and Nordana to offload bulk cargo were berthed after the departure of four.

The departing ships were led by APL Pusan, Anna-E, Chi Feng Kou and Lucky Arrow while Hyundai Admiral, Aqua Marine-1, Soraya, Fu Ning Hai, Kota Puri, Oel Transworld, Bruce Park, Orient Stride, Fatima-1 and Siam Pearl are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling was maintained on the higher side as the total tonnage of 108,000 tons including 52,792 tons of export and 54,863 tons of import tonnage was handled on Friday.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Omega King to load 15,000 tons naphtha, Gulf Tiger with diesel, Bavaria Express and Grand Champion with containers.
