Raisani appeals for winterised tents

QUETTA, Nov 10: Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Mohammad Aslam Raisani has appealed to the federal and provincial governments, aid agencies and other organisations to provide winterised tents to the quake-affected people in the province.

In a statement issued on Monday, he said: “We badly need maximum number of winterised tents for quake victims to save them from severe cold.”

He said that the provincial government, NGOs and aid agencies had provided winterised tents, but they were not enough to meet the requirement of the affected people.—Staff Correspondent
